I grew up in the UK and am now enjoying beautiful Switzerland. Frequent visits to the UK are part of the course. I speak (in this order) English, French and German, can read a bit of Latin, and am learning Japanese.
I love books, words, commas, and can’t stand being in the same place for too long. I like visiting castles and going for long walks in the proper countryside. London is a place I can’t be away from for too long – I love the city’s parks, museums, restaurants. I loathe bland colours and bad grammar. I don’t tolerate bad cakes – I make my own!
I happen to be left-handed for writing or painting, but use my right hand for most other things including playing tennis/badminton and opening jars or doors.
